Pitchfork - sophisticated and ingenious...it's gorgeous and clever throughout. The songs come together like puzzles, the pieces scattered on the floor and gradually snapped together in way that feels both meticulous and organic. It's forceful, sensuous music with a refreshing clarity of intention.

Delusions of Adequacy - a dreamily distinctive album... innate enigmatic elegance.

NPR - a mesmerizing new concept album...dreamy, ethereal...also just gorgeous and hypnotic.

NPR- Video Premier for Viskra, an amazing new video...suggest watching it in "full screen" mode.

amNew York - an ever rewarding excursion to an icy, glittering forest of sound, a sylvan idyll where silvery sylphs run wild and free. Highly recommended.

Bad Fotography - If Barzin took less drugs, lived in a Swedish forest and is next door neighbor's with Mum, then Trilogi would be the end result. Folksy, dark, "atmospheric" and mythic...

Beyond Race - ...less insane version of Animal Collective... The beauty of Trilogi really is in the intricate detail: where tiny notes and sounds somehow come together to stand out very vividly and boldly. It's as though you've opened up a complex machine, only to stare at all the little gears working together in sync, so perfectly.

Popmatters - ...an altogether ethereal, foresty sound... might be at its best in “Ner” where every line it sings is echoed by a harp and then swarmed by the angel choir, leaving it on the borderline between being concealed and revealing everything, a stripteasing phantom.

Under the Radar - ... the ambient super group Jose Gonzales forgot to join, there's little not to like in this gentle unassuming gem.

In Your Speakers - near-unrivaled beauty.

One Track Mind - Fredrik makes challenging music... for those willing to take the plunge, the duo serve up a singular, provocative vision.

Stereogum (PREMIERE) - Fully self-aware, the band's releasing a video for "Vinterbarn," from their forthcoming sophomore full-length Trilogi. It's a chilly bit of developmental psychology via gusty Swedish baroque pop.

Stereogum (PREMIERE) - Trilogi's lead track is the dark, icy "Locked In The Basement," which seemingly has nothing to do with R. Kelly, everything to do with Lovecraft and wintry atmospherics. Whatever the case, it's a pleasingly gentle bit of downcast (but brightly lit) pop, all the way through to the shuffling percussion, laser-gun electro accents, and final haunting vocalisms.
